A: Absolutely! Parks Chevrolet performs maintenance and repairs for all makes and all models… No matter what type of vehicle you drive, think of Parks Chevrolet first for all your service needs, including oil changes, tire rotations, state inspections and so much more.
Q: I’ve heard about your Krex program… What is that?
A: Whenever people get their vehicles’ oil changed at Parks Chevrolet, the Krex Graphite Engine Lubricant is included at no additional charge… With this process, that customer receives a 200,000-mile/10-year limited lubrication warranty, which includes the vehicle’s engine, Nationwide Roadside Assistance, Rental Car Coverage and Road Hazard Tire Protection.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: No, you do not need an appointment to get service work performed at Parks Chevrolet. With the dealership’s Fast Service Program, your vehicle’s service and maintenance needs can be met quickly with no appointment necessary.
Q: I always hear I pay more for service at dealerships than service shops… Is that true?
A: Definitely not! Parks Chevrolet offers competitive pricing. Save money with a lower price AND skilled technicians that really know what your car, truck, van or SUV needs. Throughout all departments, you are guaranteed a Lil’ Cheeper Deal, including a tire guarantee where Parks Chevrolet will meet or beat any competitor’s best price on replacement tires for your vehicle.
1. Take a load off… Heavier vehicles require more energy to move so carrying less excess weight helps your vehicle’s performance.
2. Don’t drive aggressively… Today’s vehicles are designed for normal wear and tear, but aggressive driving wears on your vehicle more than normal.
3. Use cruise control selectively… Cruise control is good if you are driving on mostly flat roads, but cruise control for driving on hilly terrain causes your vehicle to speed up faster to maintain the preset speed than it would if you were operating the accelerator yourself.
4. Always stop for a fill-up when your gasoline registers at less than half a tank.
5. Avoid excessive idling… It is more efficient to turn the engine off while you wait and, then, restart the car; therefore, instead of waiting in the drive-through, go into a fast-food restaurant to pick-up your next “to go” meal.
6. Think before you ventilate… Running your air conditioner does cause your vehicle to consume more fuel, but driving with your windows rolled down can be even worse due to the increase of drag on the vehicle. If driving slowly, it’s better to leave the windows open, but turning on the air conditioning is better for highway driving.
7. Combine your errands… Since a cold engine uses more fuel than when it’s warm, combining errands helps by ensuring your engine will be warm for more of the trip.
8. Make more right-hand turns than left-hand turns… Since a vehicle turning left has to idle while waiting on the oncoming traffic to pass by, making left-hand turns is harder on your vehicle than making right-hand turns.
9. Correct your tire pressure… Keeping your tires properly inflated is critical for good vehicle handling, gas mileage and safety.
10. Practice fuel-efficient driving… Accelerate gradually, drive at 60 MPH or less and drive smoothly.
